President & CEO

Debbie leads a team dedicated to simplifying charitable giving for individuals, families and companies. With a background in tax and estate planning, and over 25 years in philanthropy, Debbie ensures donors have access to a comprehensive platform of charitable tools for an exceptional giving experience. Debbie has served in a variety of roles since Greater Horizons' inception, including general counsel and COO, before assuming the role of President & CEO in 2012. In 2023, Debbie was named as a member of Forbes’ 50 Over 50.

BRENDA CHUMLEY
Chief Business and Service Officer

Brenda oversees business development, working to connect with philanthropists at all stages of their giving journeys. Brenda has been with Greater Horizons since its beginning in 2004, when it was established to serve charitable givers from coast to coast. Brenda’s 30 years in the field, combined with her commitment to serving donors, helped lead Greater Horizons to the number one spot on donoradvisedfunds.com, as she has worked to build the infrastructure and team that in 2023 received and deployed more than $1 billion in contributions and grants.

KATIE GRAY
Chief Financial Officer

Katie oversees all financial operations, including investment oversight, technology and accounting. Katie oversees our investment program, which offers each donor the opportunity to customize the investments held in their fund by working with a trusted financial advisor of their choice. In 2017, Katie was named CFO of the Year by the Kansas City Business Journal. Prior to joining our team in 2004, Katie worked in various roles, giving her public accounting and private sector experience.

Chief Legal Officer

Beyond day-to-day legal responsibilities, Corey leads the Greater Horizons complex asset team, which is nationally recognized for its expertise and ability to accept contributions of private businesses, real estate and other hard-to-value assets for charitable purposes. Corey has worked for Greater Horizons since 2005. With her background in estate planning and decades of experience in philanthropy, Corey has built a nationwide network of attorneys, accountants and financial advisors who trust Corey with their clients’ most unique and challenging philanthropic goals.
